Two giants
Two giants almost side by side,
blessing, unassuming, separating
light from dark along the road.
Straight for horses and a dog.
They call me over like a child
and I obey and kiss their
smooth and silvery bark.
With their music in my ear,
they loosen strings of my too rigid heart
and show me to discern the good and bad
In world and me.
